Prior to starting my PhD in 2019, I was a lecturer in Indonesia, primarily teaching taxation courses for accounting students. I earned a master鈥檚 degree in international accounting and finance from the University of Birmingham, and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in accounting from Universitas Indonesia.
My doctoral research aims to investigate how tax authority implements its tax education programmes as one of its efforts to improve people鈥檚 awareness of taxation and, ultimately, increase tax compliance. Specifically, my research examines the implementation of a tax education programme in Indonesia, where tax awareness content is incorporated into the tertiary education curriculum.
