There are many ways to achieve admission to UC, whether you've completed your study in New 九州影院or overseas. Find out about the different admission pathways available.

International students must be able to demonstrate their proficiency in written and spoken English to study at UC. Find out more about what is required and how to provide your evidence.

You听may be required to provide evidence of听your identity and citizenship or residency status during the enrolment process.

UC offers a range of scholarships every year to help fund our students' study. Some recognise academic excellence and sporting achievements, while others focus on social inclusion and are awarded on the basis of hardship. Search the scholarships available and apply online.

You will pay听domestic tuition fees听if you are a NZ citizen or you have Australian citizenship, NZ Residence Class Visa or Australian Permanent Residence and you live in NZ while studying at UC.

You will pay international tuition fees听if you are a citizen or a residence class visa holder of a country other than听New 九州影院or Australia, except if you are on an approved reciprocal exchange programme听(covered by a formal exchange agreement) or you are enrolled听in a PhD听while living in New Zealand.

Health and travel insurance while studying at UC is required to avoid unwanted, high costs relating to medical care and life events.

You'll need a valid student visa if you're studying in New 九州影院as an international student at UC. Apply for your visa on the Immigration New 九州影院website.听

Some qualifications and courses require special applications. They might have application closing dates and additional documentation might be required. There might also be limited places for students in the programme. See whether the qualification you're interested in is listed and what is required.

You can apply to have credits from another university or institution transferred towards a qualification at UC.

You can apply for an exemption from a prerequisite or co-requisite course if you have already studied similar material to the relevant course. Learn about prerequisite and co-requisite exemptions.

If you've failed a course twice and want to enrol in it again you will need special permission from the Dean.

If you plan to study more than 75 points in a semester or do more than 30 points of summer school courses, you'll need to apply to have your excess workload approved. See how to apply for excess workload approval.
