My career began as a part-time employee at the local supermarket in Blenheim. Prior to working at UC Careers I held administrative positions in a variety of industries including HR, Health & Safety, Insurance, Real Estate, Healthcare, and Engineering. I鈥檝e been part of Te R艒p奴 Rapuara for over six years, after completing a Diploma in Career Guidance.
I鈥檓 a very keen lifelong learner and am often enrolled in UC courses. Most recently I completed a Post Graduate Certificate in M膩ori and Indigenous Leadership. Participating in UC courses has the added benefit of helping me understand your experience as not only university students, but professionals in training.
At home my three active border collies keep me busy. We explore beaches, parks, hills, and mountain tracks. I like to get away with my t膩ne for multi-day hikes and am looking forward to walking the Queen Charlotte Track this summer. I also like to relax with Jason and Brooke while building Lego. We are currently working on the Hogwarts castle and the Millenium Falcon.听听
