Reverse:Athena Alcidemus (defender of the people) the city-goddess of Pella in her Promachos (first in battle) pose striding right holding a spear and shield, wearing a long chiton and a mantle ending in swallowtails. To her left an eagle seated on a fulmen (thunderbolt). Inscription to the left.
