Run by students for students
Te P奴tairiki is one of those services. Formally established in 1993, Te听P奴t膩iki is the M膩ori Law Students' Society on campus. Run entirely by students for students, our main objectives are to foster, promote and nurture the whakawhanaungatanga (togetherness) of our students, to provide support, guidance and pastoral care, and to facilite academic excellence.

Whanau atmosphere
We operate according to tikanga M膩ori, which creates a really welcoming whanau (family) atmosphere. We are lucky enough to have our own office in the Law School, which is a space that we can call our own, and a space where our students can study, receive tutorials, meet with their peers, grab a cup of coffee, have lunch or simply hang out in between classes.

Academic support
Other support offered to our students include extra tutorials, exam preparation workshops, essay writing workshops and social events which are run throughout the year, and the best thing of all is that membership is FREE.
Te听P奴t膩iki is a home away from home, and we would love to have you join our whanau.
