UC鈥檚 Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching (PGCertCT) is designed for health professionals who are responsible for supervising, coaching, and supporting learning in clinical learning environments in a range healthcare settings. You will develop the skills to become a competent clinical educator, establish an identity, and gain leadership skills as a clinical supervisor both within your own profession and as a member of an interprofessional team.
The qualification is structured to ensure participants gain the skills required to undertake preparatory work towards a research or educational project grounded in practice. It will introduce you to the wider community and networks of health professional educators in Australasia and the extensive literature in this field.
The programme is delivered in consultation with local District Health Boards and regional education providers.
To enrol in the Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching, you must have one of the following:

The PGCertCT is made up of four compulsory courses, which can be completed in any order, and includes online assessments and learning components.
The Certificate is normally completed on a part-time basis within 2 years.
