The Bachelor of Arts with Honours is for high-achieving Bachelor of Arts students (or from equivalent degrees) who can select from a wide range of subjects in the humanities and social sciences. Participants typically undertake a personalised study programme which will include a research component as well as taught electives.

You must have qualified for a bachelor's degree, and satisfied the prerequisites for your major subject. Prerequisites vary between departments, but normally good grades in 300-level courses in the subject is required.
If English is your additional language, you are also required to meet UC's English language requirements.

The Bachelor of Arts with Honours comprises three to nine courses, one of which must be a research course.
It will normally be completed within 1 year, but may be completed part-time in up to 2 years from the first year of enrolment.

You may progress to a variety of master's degrees in your subject area, and eventually a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
